Shopping for a printer? I usually recommend Brother or Canon.

Wi-Fi & networks

Slow Wi-Fi, rooms the signal doesn’t reach, a router that needs replacing, or a whole office network built from scratch. I find the actual cause instead of just restarting things, and I install Ubiquiti whenever it fits.

  • Wi-Fi troubleshooting and dead zones
  • Ubiquiti and mesh Wi-Fi installs
  • Cable runs, terminated and tested
  • Separate guest Wi-Fi
  • Wired connections where speed matters

Files & backups

Computer died but you need the files? If the drive still works, I can get your photos and documents off it. I also set up automatic backups so the next failure, theft, or ransomware attack isn’t a disaster.

  • Files off a dead laptop or PC
  • Recovering deleted files
  • Automatic backups for home or office
  • Referrals to a recovery lab for failed drives
Typical cost
Files off a dead computer (drive still works)1–2 hrs · $65–$130
Recovering deleted files1–2 hrs · $65–$130

If the drive itself has failed, I’ll point you to a recovery lab with the equipment for it.

For small businesses

Phones, email, firewalls, and the network that ties them together. You deal with the same person every time, so when something changes, I already know how your office is set up. I’ve also helped TBird Technologies on large office and building installs.

  • $40 visit fee. Only if I come out and you decide not to go ahead.
  • Save 5% with cash, check, Venmo, or Apple Cash. Cards are welcome too.
