Reservoir IT Solutions is a one-person technology services business based in Kingsport, Tennessee. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it’s used, and who it’s shared with.
What I collect
The contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, I receive:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The topic you pick, if you choose one
- The message you write about what you need help with
That’s the only personal information you actively give me through this website.
The quick estimate
The cost estimate on the Services page runs entirely in your browser. The job and town you pick are never sent to me or anyone else.
Everything else
There are no advertising trackers on this site, and nothing on it tries to identify you or follow you across other websites. I do use a privacy-focused analytics tool to count page visits, and some basic technical details are visible to the services that deliver the site. Both are explained in Who else handles your data.
How I use it
What you send through the contact form is used only to respond to you. I use it to:
- Contact you about the help you’re asking for
- Schedule an appointment, if you want one
- Follow up if I couldn’t reach you by phone
I don’t use it for marketing. I don’t send newsletters or promotional emails, and I never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for commercial purposes.
Who else handles your data
A few outside services help run this website. Here’s each one, what it’s for, and what it can see.

Web3Forms (contact form)
When you submit the contact form, your message is sent to Web3Forms, which forwards it to my email inbox. Web3Forms only delivers the message and doesn’t use your information for anything else. See their privacy policy.
hCaptcha (spam protection)
hCaptcha checks that form submissions come from a person. It may set a cookie and collect technical details such as your IP address and browser type. That data is processed by Intuition Machines, Inc., under their privacy policy and terms of service.
Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)
Before a contact form message is added to my ticket system, Cloudflare Turnstile runs an invisible check that the message came from a person and not a bot. To do that, it collects technical details such as your IP address and information about your browser and device. That data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. under the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Supabase (my ticket system)
Your contact form message is also saved as a ticket in my private ticket system, hosted by Supabase. Only I can see it: the system requires my password and a second sign-in code, and nobody else has access. To stop spam, the system also keeps a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address for two days, then deletes it. The code can’t be turned back into your address. Umami (analytics)
Umami shows me which pages people visit and how they found the site. It’s a privacy-focused alternative to tools like Google Analytics: it doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t store your IP address, and doesn’t build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. What it records is anonymous and grouped together: the page viewed, the referring website, and general details like browser, device type, and country.
It also counts which buttons get used, like Call, Text, or the cost estimate, and which part of the page they were on. For the estimate, it notes which job was picked, and for the contact form, which topic was chosen. It never records your name, number, email, message, or town.
I use it only to understand what services people are looking for and which ways of getting in touch work best, so I can improve the site. See the Umami privacy policy. If you’d rather not be counted, most ad and tracker blockers block it, and the site works exactly the same either way.
Vercel (hosting)
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel keeps standard server logs that can include IP addresses and basic request details. Those logs keep the site running and secure. They aren’t used to identify visitors, and I don’t review them for that. The fonts are served from this site too, so loading a page doesn’t send anything to Google or any other font service.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set any cookies of its own. The spam checks on the contact form (hCaptcha and Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a cookie or use similar browser storage as part of spotting bots. The analytics are cookieless, and there are no advertising cookies or tracking pixels anywhere on the site.
How long I keep it
Contact form messages arrive in my email inbox and are also saved as a ticket in my private ticket system, along with the name, phone number and email you give. I keep them as a record of the help I’ve provided, so I can follow up and see past work if you need help again. You can ask me to delete them at any time (see Your rights). The scrambled spam-check code described above is deleted after two days.
