One person, start to finish.
Reservoir IT Solutions is just me, Jackson. I’m an ETSU computer science grad who works in IT full time and helps people around the Tri-Cities on weekday evenings and weekends.

Why I started Reservoir IT
I opened Reservoir IT Solutions on July 4th, 2026, to help people around the Tri-Cities with the tech problems that eat up an afternoon: a printer that won’t connect, Wi-Fi that doesn’t reach the back of the house, a new laptop that needs setting up, or a worrying call that turns out to be a scam.
I have a B.S. in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University, and I work in IT full time. That’s why my appointments are on weekday evenings and weekends, but I answer calls and texts every day.
My favorite job so far was a Ubiquiti install in Rogersville: a Cloud Gateway Ultra and a U7 Pro access point, with the cable run and terminated. Ubiquiti is what I’d put in my own house, and that’s the kind of work I want to do more of.
When you call, you get me. I’ll listen, tell you honestly what I think is wrong and what it’ll cost, and let you decide. What customers have mentioned most so far is that I know my stuff, my prices are fair, and I’m easy to work with.
“I’d hate to charge someone for a visit that didn’t fix their problem.”

How I work
No fix, no fee
You’ll know what’s wrong and what it costs before any work starts. If I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
Plain English
I’ll explain what’s going on without the jargon. If something isn’t clear, ask me again. That’s never a bother.
You make the call
I lay out the options and what each one costs, then let you decide. No upselling, and no pressure while I’m standing there.
Your place, remote, or pickup
House calls around the Tri-Cities, remote help for a lot of software problems, or I can take it with me. Whatever gets it fixed fastest.
A walkthrough before I go
I show you what changed and how to use it, so you’re not left guessing once I’ve driven off.
You keep control
Your equipment, your accounts, your passwords. Nothing gets installed or left running without you knowing what it is.
Straight answers
What I recommend
- Ubiquiti for networks. Reliable, easy to manage, and what I’d put in my own house.
- Brother or Canon for printers. They hold up and they’re easy to connect. I set up a lot of printers, so I’ve seen which ones cause headaches.
What I send elsewhere
- Cracked screens. For broken phone, tablet, or laptop screens, I’ll point you to a shop that specializes in that repair.
- Big building installs. For jobs bigger than one person, I team up with TBird Technologies.
Have a tech problem? Let’s fix it.
Text me what’s going on. Talking it through is free, and if I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
